Brenda Walton – Sugar High, Inc

There was a time when the word “fondant” was new to me, but I was amazed by the beautiful cake decorations and toppers I found online. It took me a while to learn that it was called fondant, mainly because of the amazing work of Brenda Walton from Sugar High, Inc.

I loved her work so much that I started collecting pictures of her creations. I wanted to make things just like hers, so I started trying. I would put a picture of her work in front of me and carefully try to replicate it. This helped me learn how to add small, special details to my toppers, which made them look much nicer. That’s how I got started with sculpting using fondant.
